The only snakes we get here in the wild are adders and grass snakes, and thats only in summer months when its really hot, oh and slow worms,
i have some adder shots and a grass snake shot which il post later but i have to agree, to get good focusing on these creatures isnt easy, i have been using manual mode which i find helps.

Thanks Donna- Well the choice here was me crawling around on ground level with the snake and that really wasn't going to happen or the snake posing on the fence. I was happy with that option- the snake not so much. Mary
