Hi Bootiewootsy,
I really like this photo even though it is only of a duck there is something that attracts me to it (the picture not the duck).
We had a pet duck once upon a time and it used to sit on my wife's shoulder while watching tv. The funny thing about it was, it walked very much like a dinisaur and was as thick as two short planks. It lived in the house with us and was as free as a bird (Ha). We never could house train it so he did'nt last long. Bit of a daft idea getting a duck for a house pet. So don't go getting too pally with your friend will you.
Just thought I would let you know there are some very wierd people here in the UK.
Cheers

Hi xp1, Thanks for having a look and commenting.. I don't think you are weird at all. I have owned many a wild animal as a pet.. I raised a lion from a cub in the 60's then had to sell it to a lumber jack in LA, as I had to move and counldn't take it with me.. At that time you didn't need a license to own one. That was the most expensive one I have owned.. I am attracted to all wild life and that is what I love to photograph.. I have followed this duck this year and found it laid two nests, but yesterday, discovered something had gotten to both, so she was walking around like she was lost. Felt sorry for her..
