I dont know how many hours I spent this past winter freezing my fingers off , waiting under trees , for these magestic creatures to take flight.....they rarely did and when they did fly , it was usualy behind the cover of branches ....Well I finally got a nice air show from this guy ....even if he was a dirty bird .... It was a natural high for me!

Hi Donna, Well worth the time and frozen fingers. Love it. I have only seen one eagle and it was to high to get a shot. Would love to get a good shot myself. Art

Thanks Art! ....hmmm , youv'e only seen one ....I guess I'm fortunate then .... I live along a large lake , so I see them at least a couple of times a month all year around .... They are still always a treat to see , and having this one perform so nicely for me , was really a thrill.

Hi Donna. . Just looked to see if you had posted any photos .. and I know how wonderful they are ... so went looking and found . two wonderful photos .... The eagle is beautiful and well worth the cold fingers .. oh . they hurt if you get them too cold .. The detail is wonderful as per norm. Thanks for sharing ..
