Those pink April blossoms stand out so wonderfully against that lovely white snow. Quite a contradiction though since you normally associate blossom with the arrival of spring not snow

Hi Maureen...was out taking pictures of them again...seems the cold didn't make them suffer. The apricot blossoms are looking rather dejected though. 2 thumbs up!!!!hope I don't get one apricot!...my freezer still has too many

Tedz...it reminded me of cotton candy as well....yummm AND it has to be pink cotton candy...non of that blue stuff

What a comparison!...and i agree, it really makes the pink of the blossom stand out..an unusual but pretty picture Fay!

The pink and white in a natural setting as this is most unusual for me to view...so an instant eyecatch. Compositionally you've nailed it also with that thicker branch at a nice diagonal. It doesn't *halve* the image but adds interest at the right visual points. Possibly I would slide the levels a little to brighten the whites, and of personal taste (as you might know) am not *mad* on the frame detail below the pic.

Hello Bev and nXn....thank you for coming by and commenting on this frilly picture....nXn...considering you comment on the frame and will acknowlege that it does tend to pull my eye down. The blossoms, i checked yesterday and they are still very pretty...realized that it's not an apricot tree....haven't lived here long...so guessing maybe a peach tree.
