I think this is the best one,
you did really well especially considering your lenses, birders need the best glass.
I stumbled across a birding site this week, it seems that a 300mm prime plus a 1.4x teleconverter is the most popular, a 80-400 zoom is controversial and a 600mm prime is king but very expensive.
Looks like you did a good job of getting pretty close though, well done

Yep 200mm is about as far as i can afford at the moment and thats a kit lens, just chuffed i caught any of them. My camera does have a 1.4 and 2x teleconvertor button in live view, but its just a form of digital cropping the already big 14mp image. Handy for a shot you really want at lower res though (drop to 7.1mp and 3.4mp at 2x). However these were all taken through the conventional viewfinder on multiburst mode.

Good Job Dennis.. isn't it a thrill .. when u capture the bird photos .. lol .. I know that I was pleased with what I had done .. they are not easy to capture .. they move so quickly and the least amount of noise etc .. they are gone in a flash ..lol ... Thanks for sharing ..
Cheers
