I was out hiking with my camera hoping that the weather would improve but it did not. I was getting ready to call it quits when I saw this branch. Sometimes you just have to try and make the best of it.

From the thumbnail I thought "its just a bush" but opening it up was a pleasant surprise! I love the geometric shapes and the water droplets competing for attention, and how the web opens up at the sides of the frame to show how delicate the strands are. Nice one, well worth the walk in the rain!
