Whatt I See
Photographers Comments
This photo was taken whilst Fred was driving over the Port Man bridge .. The water is the Fraser River and the island is called Barnston ..... It is a lovely view from the bridge .. I had to do a lot of cropping . and didnt want to clone out all the little bits at the bottom .. Fred was driving in the center lane so it made it a little more difficult to take more of the river ..etc. .. But .. Just wanted you to see some of the lovely scenery and mountains that surround the lower mainland ... Cheers

That bis a beautiful lookin place, but I think that I may have been tempted to crop more of the sky out and left more of the water in, but that is just my opinion

Well wish I could have had more of the water .. one of these days have to get Fred to drive in the lane next to the railing . so I can get more of the water .... I had cropped a lot of the sky off .. it's a solid cement railing ... so really fouled up the view. I am not sure if I can walk across the bridge or not .. the freeway is over the bridge. . might have to try to get to another area .. so I can really show you what it is like .. It is beautiful .. if the weather etc is right ... Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at the Fraser River.... .
Cheers
Else

Nah ....... what you need is one of those roof mounted structure thingys like airplane wing-walking stunt people have. Then you could 'walk' out over the road, whilst moving at speed, snapping away til you get exhausted (unless something is traveling in the opposite direction of course )
Dave.

Hi Else,
I actually like the sky lol, I am making an effort to include as much sky as possible in some of my photo's, I think it relaxes me.
It looks to me that there is a bit of a slant on this one tho. If the barrier is preventing straightening you could try a perspective crop.

It looks a beautiful place Else, i can agree with too much sky, but perhaps if there was some more cloud in it/added to it, to break the blue up this would help, but i also leave alot of sky in my shots, its a very personal choice and everyones perspective on scenery is different..wouldnt it be boring if it was'nt!
