Hi Claire, well you choose a nice image to upload first, sunsets genially work very well as long as you have some other interest within the image which you do have with the harbour and boats, plus nice colors in the sky. I do however find the danglingly thing at the top a bit distracting and your horizon is slightly not level, but other than that a nice image. Look forward to seeing more from you.

It is good to hear different peoples comments on images, and remember that they are only comments on how we see the image, and at the end of the day it is still your image that you took, that is the beauty of posting images and getting different feedback from different people.

Absolutley.. i can take a bot of critique... otherwise no point putting them up..lol

Like u say.. its good to see what others see in a pic, so the next time u take one ull think about it differently.. may not act on it but it will mean a better pic im sure for the fact that u had those extra hints and tips in mind

Hi Claire, Well as Barry said you will get a lot of different oppinions from different people. I like the 'dangling thing' to act as a frame. Nice shot. Art

I don't like it (i can't believe we're all having a conversation about a dangly thing !!! it's just not that sort of site you know).

The rest of the pic i do like apart from the wonky bit as Baz said,i would also say that the thirds rule might have been good with this shot........
