Photographers Comments
I was trying to capture the flowing water with slower shutter speeds but I am not 100 percent happy with the results. If anyone has any pointers that would help me do better next time i would be pleased to hear from you.

Just checked your exif data, it seems your shutter is 1/500 sec. drop it down to anywhere under 1/30 if daylight is bright. ISO should be 100 or just above depending on camera. 1/4 sec @f16 or great should do it.

the shot is nice and well thought out. when taking longer exp's watch out for the water blowing out and the rocks in the back being too dark. good work though. its still a striking shot for the water the way it is, making it more of a feature by cropping etc will really make it stand out.

wish i had waterfalls and streams/rivers like this to shoot..

Tony, Brad is right if you use a f16 or greater and a tripod you will get the silky smothe water. (see on my photo's the one of High Force).
