falcon at Stonham

think this is a gyrfalcon but waiting for confirmation. tried out Dennyboys technique for improving Taiga thegreat grey owl.

Hi Lisa, I like the composition and you have got some nice colors on this bird, but the beak is out of focus, the tips of the wings you could get away with , but not the face. Also there seems to be a lot of burnt out areas on chest and top of wings. You must have been struggling for light whilst taking this image. I have been in the same situation myself. Your exif information is not saying what lens you used, but in this image I would also have tried not to zoom in so far, so that more of the bird would be in focus and then hopefully crop in to get the same picture.
