Default Junction 42

Photographers Comments
I like photographing pylons - I tried girls in bikinis but my wife preferred pylons. This one is at Junction 42 of the M4, between Britton Ferry and Port Talbot. Its a great location for urban shots - lots of bridge flyovers, rusting tin cans, urban sprawl, pylons etc, you know, all of the good things in life! I applied an Orton technique to this after converting the HDR shot to B&W.

Hi Rob, I think this has worked well in monochrome, the dark areas seem to have a bit of mystery to them, especially the foreground. It would have been nice to see a slightly larger image.
