Default Sunset over Lake Erie

Photographers Comments
While on trip to Ohio I shot this Sunset over Lake Erie. They are expecting rain storms the rest of the weekend so this may be the only semi clear sky I get this weekend.

This is my real love..landscapes..love the reflection. the sky is beautiful and calm without being an over-the-top sunset shot. nice work. is that part of the shore/a boat/the jetty in the bottom LHS?

Beautifully taken and great use of DOF and exposure, this is a real moody scene, the only thing that niggles me is the horizon, it looks slightly on the wonk to the left, but im no landscape photographer so excuse me if im well out here.

I agree - gorgeous shot but horizon just needs straightening a bit. Well done, I love this!

This is the way Lake Erie flows, it helps the water skiers
But it really is a great shot, only the interference of the quay side?? in the bottom left hand corner is a distraction for me.

Thanks all. I see what you are saying about needs to be straighted a bit. Yes the left side is part of the levy or the breaks leading into the harbor I believe.

Nice Sunset Michael .. the reflections are good .. but have to agree with them that the horizon is off a bit .. Thanks for sharing .. and it's too bad that the weather didn't work in your favour ..
Cheers
Else
