Love this shot. great reflection. could use a tad more contrast to deepen the shadows and increase the reflection. The only other thing i would do is to try and balance the sky with the reflection but it doesnt detract from a really great capture. nice work. in my favs

Thanks for the critique Andy, glad you like it. Understand what you are saying about the contrast but not sure about how you mean balancing the sky with the reflection. Alex

Hi Alex
If you look at the top of the shot and then the reflection you have more sky in the water. going by the bigger green tree i am assuming (?) that you were up higher than the shoreline of the lake on the far side..? hence why the tree has hills behind and the reflection tree is nearly touching the sky..make sense..confused myself now..

Right Andy, I think I get the gist. If I had been at a lower angle, so that the tree lined with itself in the reflection. It would have put a different perspective on the scene. Next time..... Cheers Alex

Hi Alex .. nice reflections and lovely soft colours . in the whole image .. and I do see what Andy is telling you re the sky ..etc.. So another thing for me to remember .. when I am taking landscape photos with reflections .. we are all learning .. lol
