A real pink salt lake
Photographers Comments
Spent a night in Katanning over Easter, then went out of way to drive more kms to find this pink salt lake. Bit of shame we couldnt have hung around another half hour till the sun came out.

Claire, Nice pic, I would have cropped the foreground slightly about the top of the wire so that the fence across the water leads you in to the shot.

Hi Claire, These salt lakes should be really good at sunset, but like you I also visited them during the day. But getting back to your image, I like your composition with the fence leading your eye into the lake, but I would have cropped a small amount off the bottom still keeping the wire netting fence and grass.
