now this is either a little gull with red legs and beak? or a black headed gull in winter plumage! could maybe do with a touch of sharpening although that maybe the compression of loading to the web

Trevor I really like this image and you have captured it well. I find the light patch below the gull of the car a little distracting and pulls the eye away from the main focus, the gull.
I agree with Genese it could do with a little bit of sharpening.

I too find the car a distraction and yes it could be sharper. But on the positive side having the gull on the left with room on the right to 'fly into' is spot on.

I think this is a good capture. The DOF is superb. Someone might think that the wings is a bit soft, for me it is great because you can feel it is moving. The only think I don't like is the white car which I think can draw your attention. Thanks for sharing.
