Really lovely shot Claire. well balanced, good crop. i like the tree leaning, didnt think i would. goreous colours..is that a power line down in the bottom LHS, about tree height..? since you mentioned lines i had to go looking for them!!!

Hi Claire, I like this lots, nice colours and the silhouetted tree stands out well against the background, well done for removing power lines.

Andy...many thanks for your eagle eyes with the powerlines. Missed it, probable cause overworked or too much wine, You mentioned 'crop'. I didn't crop this. Is this a term that is used for framing a pic?

aah yes framing, cropping..same thing with me, cropping in camera can be confused with cropping a shot afterwards..so i shall say well framed!!

Nice shot Claire - I can't see where the lines were so good cloning. good jet black tree too, could drop in a little tighter on tight to lose pylon. well done!

I like it Clair, yes you could loose the pole on the right. The dark tree is wonderful, turn the photo and you have lightning.
