Default Dead Dragonfly

Photographers Comments
This dragonfly was dead, had lots of holes in his wings so I did a bit of a repair job in ps.

Hi there Josie
I don't claim to be any sort of expert, just can tell you what I think. I can't see where the holes may have been, think you did a good job there. I do have one comment on the lighting though. I felt it should have even throughout. I am talking mainly about the wings as the right side seems to be a lot brighter than the left.
Hope this helps somewhat.... Claire

Hi Josie .. yes think that a little better lighting would have help . and think that I would have taken the photo at an angle so the body of the dragon fly was diagonal across the photo, but that is only my opinion. Good repair job ...
Cheers
Else

Good repair job Josie as said. I know what they mean about the lighting but I kind of like it the way it is as it shows the contours and the uneven state that those once magnificent wings are in now. The light just seems a little strong.. Maybe if you diffused it further, softened it up a bit, you would lose the hotspots. Love the black background, suits the subject and its unobtrusive.
