Mary this is beautiful, the detail is amazing, the only thing is its showing a lot of noise on my screen, perhaps this is to the resizing.
None the less a great image.

Thanks Bev for your comments. I did apply a "panting" efect in Photoshop which does make it look noisy I think- in retrospect that was a mistake- live and learn. Really enjoying looking at your work- first rate!!!! Mary

Nice work Mary, I ran your image through "neat image" noise reduction software and it removed the noise very effectively. Will post the results here if you wish.

I did the same as Dave suggested and the noiseware made a considerable difference, but if you still have the original perhaps post that and we can see it in its real form.

Many thanks Mary for the very kind compliment.

Thanks Bev and Dave for your most constructive comments.
I did print this one and it does lok a little better in print than it does here but clearly I do need to deal with getting a noise reduction plug in. I did post another effort- maybe a bit better??? Thanks again .......... Mary

No problem Mary.

I use a free noise software plugin called Noiseware Community,(link below),this might suit you, if not im sure there are others to find.
