The only thing I can find that distracts me is the stick or cigarette in the upper right hand side of the photo. What a cute fellow. He is different in color than we have here. His fur has a really nice sheen, so he looks really healthy.. Good capture and focus.

A good composition and nice and sharp, but a bit blown out for me the highlights on the fur put me off a bit,and i would have boosted the saturation a bit to make it warmer...
PS: I spotted this one with open mouth!!! we have grey ones and rarer red ones in some parts, but i had no idea they could be this colour???

I would of probably cropped in a little tighter and cloned out the wooden/concrete bar that runs across bottom left, and the larger twigs behind him, making the squirrel really stand out more, if flash has been used perhaps a diffuser would of helped as the glare on the coat gives this away.
All very minor things that can be easily rectified, making a good picture into a great one! nice capture and love the colour of this little chap.

Nice shot, just tad bright overall really. maybe selective background blurring to help the little fella stand out more. bit warmer as "eh up bloke" says too

Steve I was in the shade, didn't really want the flash to work ... but one of these days will learn to operate all those things .... Andy Easy enough to blur the background .. I am working on it .. Thanks for all of your help .. back to the drawing board .. lol . so to speak .. lol
Cheers

Hi Dennis. . Thank you .. for that .. wasn't sure how to tackle the cloning out of wood ..u did it well . . .. Now . guess I should try and see if I can do it .. Good to see that it can be accomplished .. must of taken you awhile .. In the park there are also brown squirrels but .. think I need to take a few treats for them . to encourage them to sit for awhile. Find that at times .. people are walking their dogs .. and the squirrels take off .. soon as a dog is anywhere on the path.
Cheers
Else
