Default Barn Owl flight.

Photographers Comments
I took this of the barn owl added a cloud background by masking, and added a little more depth to the owl by using curves.

At first glance it looks good, but the bit that throws me is the see through wing. I think bringing up the opacity on that wing so you don't get the clouds showing through it would improve this for me personally.

Cheers everyone appreciate the comments and feedback.

Miles...il have a go at what you suggested as i see what you mean, but the barn owls wing structure and feathering is so delicate, it can actually be transluscent if the light hits from the underpart.

Thanks Di! the original sky was just dull and blank (it was a real yukky day), so using a mask and cloud brush put some colour and definition back.
