Bird in The Park

Photographers Comments
I had to do a search on the web and found that this bird is a Spotted Towhee. I took the photo in raw, then saved it in 3 different exposures .. I had also downloaded photomatix .. the freebie ... This is about the 5th time I have tried to do a HDR ... Not sure if I have done this correctly or not ... but giving it a good try.

This looks good to me Else, Colors are very saturated and detail is great. Love the bird. Lucky you to find such a beautiful one. Great focus also.

Looks good to me, colors are very good, detail is very good and your focus is excellent. when your doing a bird, having the eye in the shot gives it a lot more impact, well done.

Hi Carol ... I just hoped that I had not overdone it .. and find it difficult at times, think it is quite easy to do .. overcooking it ..lol .. so to speak .. lol . .. Thank you for the comments and visits ...

Hi Ken .. Thank you for stopping by and having a look at this HDR of a Spotted Towhee ... and they really are not that easy to photograph ... think this is one .. of about 10 or more photos and this one was the best ... My first try at shooting small birds ... with a camera ..lol ..

Hi Tedz .. with the help of Jason (jadon) ... I was able to accomplish this .. he was of a great help to me. .. and it certainly is not way out of your league ... If I can do it .. anyone can ... Salute!!

I'm impressed with your job Else..and i'm not just saying that because you're Canadian..Not overcooked at all, to my taste. congratulations just on your attempt on trying to capture the bird. for me, I have a great admiration for those with good bird markswomanship. the only reason that I caught a grouse once, was because she had to have been sick (or nuts), she kept waddling in front of me. Good focus and love that eye. If this was my work...I'ld be extremely satisfied.
