Good hope....

This ship ironically called Good hope was shot at Skippool creek in Lncashire..Not much if any hope left for this long past its sell by date of a ship.
7 different Exposures, all Raw files put into Photomatix HDR software and finished off in CS2.

i really like this one mate it captures a sense of of desolation and a real feeling of loneliness,suits the scene nicely...  
PS: only got photomatix yesterday so i need to start playing but i will be well pleased when i start

Love the reflection the boat gives and the colours are beautiful, when you say you used 7 exposures can i ask what they were? as i have tried multiple exposures and the picture ends up looking yuk!

Sorry I just came across this one, Beautiful mate..... nicely captured
The HDR has worked really well on this. Only thing (if ok with you) far left docked boat, it would have been good to see the masts in full to compliment with the boat.
Other than that, mate.... Nice One

Hi Jason,
I like this it's a great shot, the HDR has worked wonders.
The only thing that is a bit distracting for me is the blue cover over the small boat, maybe change the colour to a more neutral on.

Hi Jason wonderfull picture mate.. Love the HDR treatment on it..
There is a little Haloing arouns the boat etc but that is just being very hyper critical other than that its a top notch pic..
Would be lovely as a blown up print
