Default hello - swans at pembroke castle

Photographers Comments
was outside the walls of pembroke castle trying to take the perfect castle shot but in the end found these swans much more interesting.
im very much enjoying these creatures at the moment - they are so bold. as soon a i got down on the grass they came marching right up to me. had to hide behind my camera.

Nice perspective, they look a little too close for comfort.

Nice to see someone from my family's neck of the woods! ( I was born in Narberth..spent loads of time at Bosherston and St.Govans when I was a boy)

Unusual viewpoint and a very effective one it has to be said.
You are a brave girl, these feathered fiends can do a lot of damage if they catch you right.
I love the focussing on this one. Bird at the back nicely out of focus and the forefront one nice and sharp. The expressions and angles of their heads is nigh on perfect. Excellent timing. Well done you.!

thank you Cactus Jack and Tco - it did seem a bit menacing so i just clicked away, checked me over and then poodled off.
you must miss this part of the world Tco, although Cornwall sounds like a good place, Pembrokeshire is a real jewel.
