Default Old shed at Scorton

Photographers Comments
Taken on a walk around the village of Scorton off the A6 in Lancashire, thought this would look nice as the sun was not long off setting.
3 exposures, shot in Raw, saved to tif, then put into Photomatix turned to HDR, tonemaped then finished off in CS2.
Hope you like it as much as me..

see, this stuff is way better than mine, partly due to me not shooting specifically for HDR in my shots etc..*note to self-try harder*

great style Jason, love the colours esp the sun on the bricks and the blue sky

Hi Andy
I just play around with the sliders until I get the look I want, I do try and not overdo it which can be easy to do, then finish it off in PS.
I can get similar results from one shot, but have found it works better when the ISO is at it's lowest as they get a bit noisy... in my limited experience anyway.
If you do it off one shot also better if the original is a good one to start with, can come out looking crappy if trying to improve a rubbish shot to start with.
Glad you like it and thanks for the great comments matey.
I think your Eden project one is cool.

Like this one a lot Jason, The setting sun on the building lends itself to your process. You are getting very good at this. I'm using PS Elements 5 and it will not process HDR photos.

Hi paul, thanks for the top comments comments mate, I have CS2, and that does do HDR, although I have done the first few of my HDR shots using the CS2 software, I then downloaded the Photomatix trial software and was well impressed with it, IMO much much better results than Adobes version, give the trial one a go, it's free too.
Here's the link:
