I lik eit but there seems to be a lot of PS work on this one but i think it would look good as a print with that slight washed out style you sometimes see. Its not sharp but I dont think that matters in this case as its more art than detail with this picture in my opinion.

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment Nik... Art is what I had in mind more than just a photo.. I did a light watercolor on it.. Glad you liked it.

This looks beautiful BW. Not sure if it is the watercolor effect, but the tail seems to have lost any shades. Nice panning BTW. I could never get that right

Thanks Paul, Else and Suvendra for taking time to look and comment.. My tail sort of burnt out on the photo. I was above the bird on the pier so the sun was really bright. I took several shots and thought this one was the best.. I was panning pretty fast that day..lol I wanted to get some shore birds but they didn't turn out as well as I wanted.. The light watercolor effect I thought gave it more of an art photo since I had some burn out on the tail... Appreciate all you comments.. Thanks again.

Hi there Bootie. Quote (.. I was panning pretty fast that day..lol I wanted to get some shore birds but they didn't turn out as well as I wanted..) Yes I know what you mean, I can remember when I tried doing this a number of years back after the book Johnathon Seagull, and found it very challenging.
Nice Try.
Cheers

Hi Joseph, Thanks for the visit and comments.. I will go back to Flagler and try again with the shore birds if they are still here.. I didn't have my long lens with me and of course their were alot ob children on the beach chasing them away...lol Quite a sight with me chasing the birds as the children were chasing them away...lol It is very challenging..
