I was at a pier taking shots of the water, the sailboats, the angles of the pathway. A huge swarm of flies approached me and I couldnt escape them.
So I tried to focus on the flies. Unfortunately my speed setting wasnt right, it all happened so fast, but I managed to capture an interesting shot anyway.
They look like little bits of folded paper floating in the air.
I thought it was interesting to see the path of their flight and the shape they created in the shot.

You have got to be kidding!!!!!!.....the wonderful fun of walking around with a camera!

Yeah, it's called making good use of a bad situation.
I want to do it again, but this time get my speed right and see if I can actually capture at least one of them clearly...would be neat!
Will have to go back to the pier in the spring, when the flies are most likely to be........flying!
