After making the windows rattle and the walls shake..it takes them 7 yrs to get up enought steam for another round. Interesting creature...looks like a rhinoserous wearing a tou-tou (sp?)

Excellent detail Josie...putting that new camera to good use!!!! Don't they made a racket!!! Mayah collects all their 'shells' they leave on the trees ...they are an unusual insect!!! Great photo!!

Hi Josie ... Good detail . I tried to look at the EXIF and none available ...They really do make a lot of racket we don't have them here .. but have talked to many in the south that plan important things like weddings etc. .. so it doesn't happen in cicada season lol ...
