Else asked if she could see a progress report on my banana flower....so here it is four days after my first shot and really opening up!!! I hope that fay can see the fruit now lol.

Hi Diane, Thanks for sharing .. I never knew how they really grew .. and now can really see the bananas starting to form..... I had always wondered .. but never figured it would grow like that ..

Couldn't believe the transformation in a few days. Didn't know that the ends of the bananas that we buy, once had a blossom on the end!

There is enough bananas to make a huge ambrosia for this whole gang. (hard to take the logging camp cook out of me) Stay tuned..I have nothing spectacular as this to add to the ambrosia but I'm going to put up a picture of strawberries that would make a nice contrast to your bananas
