This was the first landscape shot i did when i got an slr and at the time i was soooo proud of myself...(things have moved on a bit since then though)

nice to hear enthusiam like this..great shot. if you shot this in raw it would make a great HDR project. loads of shadow and movement..

already ahead of you there been to this location several times but as it's in a deep valley sunrise/sunset never provides good light so have to shoot middle of dayish (not good) so am waiting for a bit of good weather to try out out my first HDR and this was top of my list.

make sure you post it! am only just getting into HDR myself and am really taken with the sudden reality that you can pretty much shoot in any light (within reason) any get great HDR shots..

yes mate cokin circular,as i said before never seem to get the right light so tried grey nd grads polariser and even a grad tobbacco this was about the best shot i got.
