Sand mounds at Cleveleys

It is strange about these interesting sand mounds that I have never noticed them before on the beach at first I thought they were rock and I tapped them with my foot and they collapsed, fascinating.
Shot at Cleveleys Beach on the Fylde coast in Lancashire.

Hi Jason .. these are very strange looking aren't they .... and like what HDR has made them so very clear .. It gives it that 3D look to the sand/rocks .. .. Thanks for sharing ..

I like this also... I am not sure if you did a HDR on this but it looks like you did much more than the back garden shot you posted.. Wonderful lighting on the mounds and a very clear shot...

Hiya Else, I think the HDR has helped a lot in this shot, brought out more detail in the shadows, thanks for the great comments and visit.

this is another great shot.. even better than the last one..the colours are just simply amazing here.. i really need to get down to the coast by me this summer
