Ok I'll finally come out and admit, I've got a thing about browns and blacks put together in a photograph and it has taken this picture to prove it ! The colours are wonderful and the crop is fantastic, they all give a feeling of intensive and tremendous raw power, then to find the blood on the log from the foot well it just took my breath away awesome !

Alistair

Wow thank you Alistair, As this was taken through a fence, I was very pleased with the result. The crop is minimal as I was specifically trying to capture the feet & talons. As I put the inspiration was from Genese, she wanted a shot of the foot, but want practical with her lense set up..
Pete

Hi Pete, I was also drawn by the raw power that Alistair mentioned....what a stunning shot! I also liked the texture in the wood block....it put me in mind of the head of some sort of mythical beast....or is that just my overactive imagination, again?...lol

Diane
