Now that is snow, I like your foreground subject and the long shadows. I think that I would have cropped a bit of the sky out as I find that the frozen lake seems to cut the image in half.

Very nice winter scene, nice use of the foreground with the logs. very nice exposure on the snow and shadows. I gree with Barry a little croping out of the sky area would help take the lake line out of the middle.
