Weve had that much rain recently this is whats happening to all our wood LOL, only kidding as if you couldnt tell LOL.
Shot this manky wet rotten piece of wood while I was having a walk near Skippool creek in Poulton-le-fylde.

I like this but would have gone for a wider DOF i love how the back ground is soft but would have liked the whole of the plank to be sharp. Good colour and a nice abstract. Dont know what Lenses you have but a macro of the rotten part would also be nice.

Hi Nik I Agree wholeheartedly, the plank could be much sharper, this is one I grabbed when I was rushing back to the car, I didn't have time to put my cam on the tripod and use a smaller aperture..I know excuses, excuses LOL.
