Hi Julia To me this has been beautifully captured, well clear and good focus. Also Love the light flowing through the tips of the wings.
Compositionally IMO I might have tried to get the seagull to the left of the shot so it looks as if it is flying in to the shot as opposed to out of it.
Nice capture IMO nevertheless.

bugger...i looked at this shot and....thought Exactly what Jadon has said....

Really gorgeous light through the wings. fabulous. love the blue tinge too.

Hi Julia, Nice image with main body being sharp and no distracting background. Like Jason said I would have recomposed so that the gull is flying into the image, only thing that really lets it down is the soft focus at end of near wing.
