Near Rydal water

This is a shot taken near Rydal water in the lake district at the end of Novenmber 2006.
Ok, Ive cheated on this one, I added a sky as the original was totally burnt out and there was a white halo effect all around the branches at the top where the new sky is and well it sort of ruined it all, it was destined for the bin, I have just played around in PS and used the blur tool with the mode at the top set to darken and this seems to make it look better and more natural, ok its not perfect but what do you think?

photo is ok but try cropping the bottom quarter as the eye is drawn to that area in detriment to the rest of the scene, only my opinion
