Shot this one last year, the weather was attrocious so have had a play with it in PS to come up with this.
Shot at Rivinton near Bolton in Lancashire.

Yes I like this finger post gives some foreground interest and that along with the wall leads to the tower in the background. I quite like the colouring reminds me of those early tinted to colour B&W photos..

Hi there Nik, I did quite a bit of playing with this because on the day the weather very rainy and the light was very flat, but I liked the composition so I just played around with and give one of those posterize filters in PS and altered the colours too, I wasn't too sure about the masking around the edge.

Hi Jason, Like the masking around the edges .. think that it just adds to the feel of the whole photo ...

Hi Alan, thanks very much for the visit and nice comments, this is one place I'd like to go back to when the weather is nice, that bad weather just seems to follow me around wherever I go LOL.

Thank you Else, glad you like the masking around the edges, I wasn't too sure at first as this is normally my sort of treatment to my shots, a saved shot in the end hey? LOL.

Hi Joseph, I addaed a posterize filter from PS after I had played around with the colours and levels etc, cheers for the visit.
