I prefer #1, and even more so if you can lose the lamp standard. I'm missing days out togging with the Chorley Irregulars, but work beckons.

Not allot you can do with the lamp Dave, the colour in the stream is nice but the bridge is a bit black with the shadows nice shot though.

Thanks Russell, yes I did think of cloning the lamp post out, I think I should have also. We willl have to go out somewhere soon, EG mostyn and Heswall, and the lilac will be growing soon and I hope we can see the wild flower meadow in bloom as we missed it by a whisker last year.

Thanks John, I did get rid of the other photographer that was stood on the bridge LOL I met him at Birkacre, when I went to see the black swans, he was called Dave and had a 1D, I never noticed how dark the bridge was thank for pointing it out

#1 I like how the stream leads into the scene, but like John says the bridge is a bit dark (time for a 7D with remote flash), I'd lose that lamp post too.

#2 A nice view, but I think the two large tress on the right blocking the house spoil it a little, just chop them down for a clean view of the house.
