Baby Stick insect.

Taken through perspex this is a tiny stick insect hatched this morning.

It is standing on a privet leaf so you can see how small she is.

the egg still attached is about the size of a pin head in diameter.

Ha ha i agree .. What amazes me is that stick insect was born thismorning how did all that get into that shell.

Original! she would have been ella-stick in that case.

She is a cutie, dont mind insects, reptiles, but slugs! make me go all weird fortunately they cant chase you!
