Hey Big guy, think i need to start taking lessons from you dude as these are damn awesome..
the first one, love the colours apart from the sky, maybe a touch more cyan into it make the colours more surreal
the second one is just plain great bw!!
brown nosing aside Andy, id actually pay money for the bw version.
what else can i say??
*sigh...at least i'm better looking than him...walks off intending to get better at landscapes...*

liked both of these, you must have done quite a bit of dodge/burning on these ! The only thing i did notice was that rope going from the jetty to the RHS of the image, Is it possible to clone that out. Apart from that, stunning !

Cheers Al. I see what you mean mate. I am going to have to invest in a wider lens. The rest of the view would have balanced it out but I couldn't get it all in. Cheers buddy

Hey donkey. The sky was a big problem mate. My sensor is lagged with bits. I am having to slightly blur all my skies at the moment because of the spots...there are thousands. Still looking into a safe way to clean sensor. Cheers for comments bud.
Better looking? Maybe...but can you pull off wearing a barbed wire thong??!

Yes Ric...loads of p/shopping. I am a bit worried I am going to end up stuck in the same moody, dark look with landscapes/seascapes. I just get carried away and end up with the 'muddied' look. Thanks for pointing out the rope, I never noticed it, even though there is a big lump of weed hanging off of it!
Happy New Year to all of you

the effect youve got here is great, but dont do what i did, go further and further into the same effect, it ends up being too much. Ive seen a few photographers knocking out these sorts of images and thought you were using a filter to get it !
