This view looking upriver was taken on Christmas day 2008

The view is under threat from a development in the fore-ground area 9 - 11 stories high

Another beauty...but in line with Phototopix sub-rule 32a; I would have cropped out the offending building work.

Nice one Neil, i know Magpie was having a laugh with his comment you couldnt crop anything for this composition to work the river wall comes in spot bottom left and leads you through the image. I might have been tempted to select the building work, mask it and darken it a bit to take your eye off the 2 bright lights. Might not work as they are a bit bright. But overall a real quality shot for me.
