Not like you to do wildlife Barry but thats an excellent shot, love the catchlights and the pose. If it werent a marauding grey Charlie would be proud of that.

Only because he was sitting on the lawn for so long, I had time to find camera and fit appropriate lens.

We did scare him away with hose pipe, as we did not want him to feel at home here nicking all of the bird feed.

Hi Barry, ... Squirrels are notorious for going after the bird food ...

I watch the antics all winter long when the neighbour has her bird feeder out. Wonderful, clear, sharp image of the squirrel ..

Dont give me "Just sitting on the lawn" i bet you were out stalking this squirrel for hours Barry!! detail is superb.

Great capture with plenty of detail. I like it.

As an aside we had a problem with a squirrel nicking the bird seed, so we spiked his guns by lacing the pole with cooking oil.

It was hilarious watching him take a massive leap onto the pole, only to slowly slide down to the bottom.
