This is excellent! almost a classic painting feel to it.
I like the way the background has been darkened off to bring out the fox. If this was done in camera it's double amazing ;-)

For the most part , done in camera ... I went for a darker exposer to keep the feel of the deep woods ... When editing , I then decreased the intensity of the shadows a bit , which toned down the contrast of the background and softened the shadows and left the fox's highlights nicely intact . Then after resizing the image , I sharpened only the fox and the foreground . Added a wee bit of vignetting around the edges ... And then the hard part... the title .. I'm about titled out , couldn't come up with one , so I called my husband in and he gave the photo the name

Stunning, wonderful, beautiful, simply a great photograph turned (as said above) into a fantastic, enticing, intriguing "painting-like" image. And it even looks too dark to have taken such a super photograph. Great work in PS just made a great pic superb! I think you can tell, I rather like it
