Len, this is very nice, you choose the right moment to take the shot with the train being on a curve, no people with heads poking out of the windows, and nothing modern in the background. But some blue sky might had helped

Nice one Len, looks like the same train i shot on my very rainy day when i only took about 10 images! If i had tried this i would have got soaking wet.

Hi Barry and Dennis; Mother nature would not respond with blue skies this day; it was overcast with some light rain did best I could under circumstances.

As Barry said great angle, reminds me of a secene from a western Len!
Love the motion caught in grass and even without the blue sky its a terrific shot!

Hi Len, Not sure which one is better the one with or without the sky in it.. One thing that I did notice .. when you cropped the sky out you also took out that end bit of the train .. think I like that in ... gives me the feeling like I am leaning out of the train looking down the line. Think that is very effective .. Good image .. nicely done
