We visited Bryce Canyon recently and were overcome with the beauty of the rock formations and the colors. This my favorite photo taken during the visit. The formations on the right are call hoodoos.

Welcome to the forum you have chosen a very impressive photo for your first post it’s hard to judge the scale of this the trees look like blades of grass up against the rocks we have nothing like this in England.

Looks like a great location, we visited Zion a couple of years ago and had a great time.
It looks like this location is somewhat of a bowel and the ‘stand up’ rock formations, (are they actually stalagmites?) look like buildings in a long lost desert city

Beautiful image..even gives a 3D effect, wen you look at the trees it really shows the size of this place.

Thanks for the kind comments. Bryce is a trully amazing place. I recommend a visit by anyone who has never seen this unique place in the U.S.
