This is quite an emotive shot really, since we can possibly all relate to feeling a bit alone and washed up on the shore, from time to time. The colouring in blue tones also suits perfectly the story and feeling of sad isolation. I find it well composed, and see some noise which in my opinion enhances the image nicely. Fine capture!

I like the lighting.

The scene hold a promise for me - the promise of better weather to come and happy days spend in a boat on the sea.

Not a wasted trip at all.
