Hi Maureen, what a stunning view from the boat. Its very cropped i guess as its not a panorama of more than one shot. The view is lovely the shadows on the mountains on the right are good. Landscape wisdom has it you have a 2/3 to 1/3 split which you have. My only 2 comments would be Lake Windermere isnt a river! and its a bit too small to see the fine detail. Havent been for 24yrs need to return i reckon.

I'm tired and having one of those days when my brain's not working at full speed and no quips about women's brains if you don't mind LOL

I've been a few times. This was our first time in Windermere. We usually go further out to Glenridding and Lake Ullswater which is even more beautiful

Hi Maureen, agree with Dennis, good composition and a level horizon even on a moving boat. Would have been nice to had had some sunshine on the left hand hillside and trees. I feel that the snow on those hills has just saved this shot.
