Hi Steve,
technically this looks fine, however I would crop at the bottom to lose those distracting doggy footprints. Maybe at the base of the second post. The line of posts nicely lead the eye out. but unfortunately there is nothing there of singular interest to greet the line of view. Perhaps a boat on the horizon would have finished it off nicely. With your permission I would be happy to give it a go. Great sky line, and colours.
Regards....Phil

Hi Steve,
Just to show what I meant within my comment. Instead of cropping I chose to clone and clean up the doggy footprints, I then added a point of interest (albeit not the best option, but the only one I had in stock) to follow on from the line of posts.

Cracking image Steve. Personally, I would leave the paw prints in - adds a little something else to the foreground.
However, (chuckles) I would remove the glare spot for the far right - it draws the eye to it, rather than the image.
Also got to admit, Phils addition with the yachts has worked well, but I also like you version! This be the beauty of digital enhancement!
Nice one mate

Hi Steve, have you tried it in portrait, that way you could lose the glare on the right.

Phil. Mark
Many thanks for your comments and for your idea's. I like what you have done Phil but this is virtually straight out of the camera just fiddled in Picassa. I have not got any decent editing software yet.PS the paw prints were left by my dog,it was dificult to keep him out of the picture.
Many thanks
Steve
