The Angel of the North
Photographers Comments
Sculpture by Antony Gormley; same guy who did the male sculptures on Crosby beach. Left people in give sense of size

Hi Len, just something i knew, if i had never been up A1 wouldnt have a clue. have just tried the following after Anns comments. Selected the angel did curves adjustment to lighten, seleced the sky did curves again to darken slightly, did filter>other>high pass .9px then overlay to sharpen edges a tad. Only slight adjustments nothing drastic.

Hi Len ...... it's a big, bold, impressive piece of sculpture and you have captured it in a way that shows this off well. The figures give a great sense of scale. The sky is great and just a pity you weren't blessed with a bit of sunlight on the angel itself that would really have made it stand out well against the sky and brought out those lovely copper/brown/rust colours that I know are in there (but you can’t control that).
Good solid image
