Hi Muriel, these are really good, you have obviously sorted out using the plastic as a background, I like the detail that you have retained in those petals and yes the colours are very warm and nice. Only small crit is the fact that you have cropped one of the petals on the right hand side.

Thanks Barry I know what you mean about the crop. I did a second crop as an after thought to level them up an lost that bit.

The crop is the only thing that spoils this slightly.... great composition and subjects tho  Symeterical if I spelt that right... LOL works great

Thanks, Liza and Spooks. I took on board everyone's criticism and started again, the good thing is I've learnt one very important lesson. ALWAYS start with a good crop - seriously tedious having to do that twice!

Nice one Mu, i learnt (from Barry) leave a bit of room round the subject, then you can crop and level e.t.c. and not spoil the shot. The edit is better, the original was unbalanced at the top slightly as well. Lovely colours.
