I can see what you are trying to get here Josie. Sun set/rise is a beautiful time of day and you have a good scene here. My problem is that there is no light in the 'valley' which kinda makes it all too dark for me. The setting sun is directly over your back and therefore must rise somewhere somewhere over the hills we see lit in this shot? I'd be tempted to try and make more of a feature of the pond say from a position either north or south of the pond closer to it and shoot a bit earlier to get some light (and perhaps some reflection on the pond) in the valley. Now a bit of early morning mist at sunrise and it would be yummy

Hello Dave, thanks for your input, I'll give it all a try next time I do have better ones of this scene, but taken all with my old camera. appreciate your comments.
